Compton Dundon Primary School awarded Activemark for the second year running

In what is an outstanding achievement for a small school, Compton Dundon Primary School has been awarded the Activemark for exceptional delivery within the National School Sport Strategy by the Department for Children, Schools and Families.

Jane Thomas, Head Teacher, said: "I am proud of the achievement of the School in being awarded the Activemark for the second year running. The Department for Children, Schools and Families were impressed with our delivery of sports lessons, our work with other schools within the federation, and the extra curricular activities we offer the children in the area of sports development. They were particularly impressed with our daily 'Wake and Shake' exercise programme."
