Compton Dundon C of E (VC) Primary School

Welcome to Compton Dundon Church of England Primary School. Nestling under the lee of an Iron Age hill fort, our school enjoys a beautiful setting as part of the rural village of Dundon, and has fabulous views of the open countryside. The school was founded by the Church of England well over 100 years ago and sustains its close links with the Parish Church of St Andrew, although today our school is maintained by the Local Authority.

As a smaller rural school, we are able to cater for each child’s individual needs. We expect high academic standards and we give children every opportunity to achieve their full potential in a happy, calm and stimulating environment.

Since 2004, when I joined the school, it has been my pleasure to be part of this exciting and thriving community with its dedicated staff and excellent facilities. I hope that this website will give you a good insight into our school life, and will help you develop a better understanding of our place in this friendly village community.
